Here are the top five stories in Irving today:
- Fewer and fewer people are looking for jobs in the Irving area as unemployment numbers continue to be very low. New data from November 2021 shows a 0.3 percent decrease in unemployment over the previous month and a 2.5 percent decrease over November 2020. (Irving Patch)
- The Arlington Museum of Art's Eat Your Art Out event is back! On February 19, the institution will host more than a dozen confectionery masterpieces alongside charcuterie, a sushi bar, live music and more. Proceeds from the event will support Arlington's best (and only) museum. (artgroupsdfw.com)
- The Irving Art Association announced its plans to resume in-person meetings beginning January 25. Attendees will enjoy a mixed-media demo by Maureen Brouillette. Masks and distancing are required. (artgroupsdfw.com)
