- Dalworth Restoration of North Texas restores more than damaged buildings-- the Euless company works at restoring kindness, one good deed at a time. Each year, General Manager Robyn Kent and her team spend a month doing good deeds. They've surprised folks by paying for coffee and food at local businesses and sending trucks with equipment to help those affected by the storms in Louisiana. - Police report one injury from a shooting at the Irving DART station Sunday evening. The incident took place around 7:00 PM at the Irving Convention Center Station on Northwest Highway west of Riverside Drive. Authorities have a suspect in custody. There's no report on the condition of the injured person. (FOX 4 Dallas)
- Tragic news from Grand Prairie: A 9-year-old boy was struck by a passenger car in a parking lot Saturday. He died later of his injuries. The fatal accident occurred around 2:00 PM. The boy's identity has not been released, and police say the incident is still under investigation. (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)
