DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field are reporting major cancellations across the board. Travelers are urged to confirm a flight's status with their airline prior to coming to either airport.

Roadways, Highways

Motorists are urged to stay off the roads throughout this storm. Road conditions are expected to remain dangerous through Tuesday, Feb. 16.

  • Irving Traffic and Transportation Department's Streets Division reports city streets are passable but covered in snow. No closures in effect.
  • TxDOT Dallas reports crews are out monitoring roadways and removing accumulation ahead of the next round of storms. Because of extreme frigid temperatures and current accumulations, motorists should expect icy conditions despite treatment efforts.
    • Stranded motorists can call (800) 525-5555 for Texas Roadside Assistance. This information is found on the back of Texas driver's licenses.
    • Highway express lanes are closed throughout the region to help crews focus on highway main lanes.
    • As conditions continue to deteriorate, TxDOT will focus on keeping one lane of highways cleared for motorists.
    • Monitor current road conditions at the DriveTexas.org website, as well as the agency's Twitter and Facebook pages.

Public Transportation

DART and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) have modified their schedules due to the storm.
