Irving School Calendar 2018-19: Dates To Know This Year

IRVING, TX — The 2018-2019 school year will soon be in full swing, with classes starting August 20 in the Irving school district.

While back-to-school season is often the busiest time of year, a little foresight can go a long way when it comes to planning for the first day of school.

The 2018-2019 Irving ISD student calendar, listed below, will help you plan for important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and graduations.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:
August

• 8/20: First Day of School

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)

October

• 10/5: No School for Students (Parent Conference Day)
• 10/8: No School for Students (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/2: No School (Teacher Work Day)
• 11/19 — 11/23: Thanksgiving Break

December

• 12/21 - 12/31: No School (Winter Break)
