The forecast

  • Thursday, Feb. 11: Precipitation expected to slow and end in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing.
  • Friday, Feb. 12: Additional freezing drizzle expected, and minor accumulations possible.
  • Saturday, Feb. 13: Light precipitation may occur early. Afternoon temperatures expected to rise above freezing, allowing accumulations to melt.
  • Sunday, Feb. 14 to Monday, Feb. 15: Extreme cold will settle into the area. Snow accumulations of 2-6 inches are expected Sunday night into Monday morning, making the Monday commute very hazardous.
