Here are the top five stories in Irving today:
- Find out more about Irving ISD's Parent Education and Community Engagement (PEACE) department at the Press Release Desk. The program keeps parents up-to-date on what's going on in their children's schools, offers educational opportunities and helps coordinate volunteer efforts. - Solid waste collection is the latest victim of COVID-19. The City of Irving reports that the virus is causing staffing shortages, impacting service over the next couple days. Staff will be stepping up on Wednesdays and Saturdays to mitigate the problem. (Press Release Desk)
