Hey, Irving! Here's everything you need to know to get this Tuesday started off right.
First, today's weather:

Here are the top five stories in Irving today:
- Police are investigating several recent break-ins at Oak Cliff homes. Some of the home invasions took place while residents were at home. In one instance, the robbers threatened a pregnant woman at gunpoint. Check out surveillance footage and get the whole story at FOX 4 Dallas.
- A Grand Prairie restaurant featuring pickleball courts was scheduled to open on December 26. The fun concept called Chicken N Pickle features fast-casual dining, 11 pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts and more. (Texas News Today)
- Get ready for the next slew of holiday closures at the end of the week. Residential trash, curbside recycling or brush collection will be suspended on December 31. Civic closures include:
- Irving libraries
- City Hall
- Irving Archives and Museum
- Irving Arts Center
- North Lake Natatorium
- Parks and recreation facilities
- Heritage Aquatic Center
