🌱 Warrant For Mother After Infant Fall + NFL Convenes In Irving

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Irving.

Hello, neighbors! It's me again, Ash DeMello, your host of the Irving Daily.

First, today's weather:

A morning thunderstorm; windy. High: 53 Low: 33.

Here are the top stories in Irving today:

  1. Here's an update on the accident involving an 8-month-old who fell from a vehicle last month and was killed: Irving Police have issued a warrant for the mother of the infant, Tangela Smith. Authorities say none of Smith's four children who were passengers were secured properly. (Irving Weekly)
  2. Broadway World shared MainStage Irving-Las Colinas's announcement that it's cast the upcoming production. Anna in the Tropics by Nilo Cruz is Winner of the 2003 Pulitzer Prize. Tap the link to learn more about the show and where to get tickets.
  3. It looks as if the door has closed for Trevor Story coming back to North Texas to play for the Rangers. Story, a native of Irving, was reportedly being courted by the team while exploring his options as a free agent. Sounds like he's headed to Houston after the lockout, though, according to Noah Yingling of Fansided.
  4. Irving is the site of NFL bigwigs while they consider the implications of the league's recent coronavirus outbreak. Get the details at MSN Sports.
