• Jacksonville man with felony warrants escapes arrest (star-telegram.com) — Law enforcement is searching for Jacksonville resident Andrew Morgan, who escaped arrest after barricading himself in a home between Rusk and Jacksonville and is considered armed and dangerous. Regional SWAT and local police spent hours at the scene but could not safely reach him. Residents are urged to report any information about his whereabouts to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.
