• Remains Found Near Site Where Man Was Last Seen by His Mom Before He Left to Go Hunting and Disappeared (people.com) — Investigators recently found possible human remains in a wooded area of Newton County, not far from where hunter Joshua Larkin disappeared in 2022, after earlier search efforts by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office and local prosecutors. Authorities say the remains, which include a skull, will undergo DNA testing as the multi‑county investigation continues, and they're still asking anyone with information to come forward.
