Suspect arrested after stolen vehicle with infact inside recovered (haysfreepress.com) — A Bastrop man is in custody after allegedly stealing multiple vehicles in Kyle and Buda, including one with a 5‑month‑old child inside taken from Kohlers Crossing in Kyle. Police used automated license plate readers and community tips to quickly find the vehicle at a Buda ER and safely recover the infant. The suspect now faces numerous child endangerment, theft, and trespass charges.
