• Avenue N bridge opens ahead of schedule (dailytrib.com) — Direct access between Marble Falls and Meadowlakes is finally restored as the new Avenue N bridge over Backbone Creek opens ahead of schedule, replacing the low-water crossing lost in the 2018 flood. Funded largely through state and federal mitigation grants with a local match from both cities, the project improves everyday travel and emergency response for residents who've endured more than a year of detours.
