  1. Officials with Omni Hotel & Resorts, workers with Brasfield & Gorrie Construction Co., and members of SB Architects celebrated a major construction milestone for the $520 million investment for the city of Frisco. This resort is the country's largest in development and will open in spring 2023. The PGA of America-partnered project is set to include two championship golf courses, the Omni PGA Frisco Resort, a retail village, and the PGA of America headquarters. (Star Local Media)

  • The City of Frisco reminds residents that there's one week left to file a place on the ballot for the General Election for City Council Place 2 and Place 4. The election is on May 7, 2022; and the deadline to apply is next Friday, Feb. 18, at 5:00 p.m. (Facebook)
  • Visit Frisco is calling all youngsters to participate in today's annual Trick-A-Trout. The event is free and will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Vial Lake, which will be stocked with approximately 4,500 rainbow trout from Texas Parks and Wildlife's Neighborhood Fishin' Program.
