• Placemaking through art: McKinney officials grow public art collection with more than $110K investment (communityimpact.com) — McKinney is investing more than $110,000 in new public art, adding murals, sculptures, and installations at spots like McKinney National Airport and Hall Library while expanding free downtown art tours. Local artists and businesses say the grants help beautify storefronts, attract visitors, and strengthen the city's cultural identity. Residents can even join guided or self-guided mural walks through Historic Downtown.
