• McKinney Considers $21 Million Incentive For Cannon Beach (localprofile.com) — McKinney officials are weighing a $21 million incentive for the Cannon Beach surf lagoon and resort, a $200 million project already under construction near Stacy Road and SH 121. The development would add about 700 jobs, attract an estimated 400,000 visitors a year, and transform one of the last big undeveloped tracts in the city's 2040-designated Entertainment Center district.
