District 121

Mark your calendar, tell everybody and put on your pink!
October 3rd is Mean Girls Day and this year, we're making fetch happen!
Rooted in Rhythm is returning to District 121 in McKinney, Texas with the Positively Pink Edition and it is going to be a time. We're talking live music, incredible performances, and a cause so powerful it'll move you to tears and get you back on your feet dancing, all in the same night.
This is the event you'll be talking about on October 4th. And November. And honestly, all the way into 2027.
THIS EVENT IS FOR EVERYBODY.
Music lovers, Creatives, Community builders, Breast cancer warriors and their people. The office crew. The neighborhood. The family. The friend group. The couple looking for something real to do. The solo attendee who shows up alone and leaves with a community.
If you have a heartbeat and you love good music - this event is for you. Bring your girls. Bring your guys. Bring your family. Bring your coworkers. Bring your neighbors. Bring your mom. Bring your dad. Bring your kids. Bring your whole block if you want to.
The more the merrier. The more the more powerful.
Because when people show up wearing pink for a cause that has touched almost every single family in America, that's not just a concert, that's a movement.
HERE'S WHAT YOUR TICKET GETS YOU:
World Class Live Music
Headlined by the dynamic and electrifying Elsie, joined by a powerhouse lineup featuring McKinney's very own Angel White, Andrea Vasquez, Lori Rayne, Southbound Twins, and Adrian Garza. This group of diverse, talented performers who are going to bring the house down. This isn't background music at a networking event. This is a full festival experience with performances that will have you on your feet from the first beat to the last note.
A Cause Worth Celebrating
Every single ticket you buy does something real.
A portion of all proceeds goes directly to our "Create Your Destiny" grant program - providing financial support to creatives who have been personally impacted by breast cancer. Whether they faced it themselves, watched a parent fight through it, held a best friend's hand through treatment, or lost someone they loved - these are real people in our community whose lives your ticket directly impacts.
Breast cancer doesn't discriminate. It touches every community, every family, every zip code.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. October 3rd is Mean Girls Day. Pink has never meant more.
WHY YOU NEED TO BE THERE:
We Have A Proven Track Record of Showing Up For Our Community:

400+ attendees showed up for our very first Rooted in Rhythm festival and left changed

1,000+ community members came out for our line dancing series because when we build something real, people feel it

We replaced instruments for 25 musicians who lost everything in wildfires

We put art supplies back in the hands of 40 students after devastating flooding

We gave emerging artist Olivia Clark - a Wade College graduate and our own mentee - her first stage, and she sold her first piece of art right there

Our festival is built by college students and women creating professional opportunities alongside unforgettable art

We commissioned an original poem and song by ShySpeaks created exclusively for Rooted in Rhythm - because this event deserves original art

You've been looking for something to do that actually matters. Something that feeds your soul, moves your body, celebrates your community, and gives back at the same time.
Maybe you've been touched by breast cancer personally. Maybe someone you love has. Maybe you just believe that music, art and community can change the world.
You're right. And this is where it happens.
Come as a family. Come as a couple. Come as a crew. Come solo and meet your people. Come in your pink boots and your pink dress and your pink everything. Come in a pink tie. Come in a pink hat. Come however pink shows up in your wardrobe and your heart.
Because on October 3rd at District 121, everybody belongs. Everybody is welcome. And everybody leaves having been part of something bigger than themselves.
ONE NIGHT. ONE COMMUNITY.
This is not a maybe situation. This is a get your tickets now situation.
When District 121 hits capacity on October 3rd - and it will - you want to already have your wristband. You want to be the person who got their whole crew there early. You want to be the person telling the story, not watching it from the outside.
Tickets are limited. The cause is limitless.
