(September 3, 2021) Burlington St and part of Oglethorpe St will be closed starting Tuesday, September 7, as construction starts on a new park in Frisco Square. Parts of these streets will be closed permanently and absorbed into the new park as shown in the attached map.  The other closed portions of those streets will reopen in about two months when road construction is completed.  In addition, Burnham St will be temporarily reduced to one lane during construction and will be limited to eastbound one-way traffic between Library St and Moore St (see attached map).

During this closure, drivers on John W. Elliott Dr or Moore St should use Page St to go around these road closures and head west. Drivers are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to seek an alternate route in advance.
