(November 18, 2021) The portion of Simpson Plaza directly in front of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center will be closed Saturday, November 20, for the Otsukimi Festival. The road will close at 7 a.m. and will reopen at 10 p.m. During the closure, drivers will still be able to approach City Hall and the Public Library from all directions, but they will not be able to drive or park directly in front of the building (see attached PDF of map). Any driver who circulates around Simpson Plaza will be diverted to circulate around the back of the building where they will have access to the free parking garage.  ADA accessible parking is available on each level of the garage next to the elevator.

The Frisco Public Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  The Otsukimi Festival starts at 6 p.m. and attendees can park in the free parking garage behind the Municipal Center.  Those driving through Frisco Square to view the first night of the Christmas Light Show will enter on Coleman Blvd as usual and will circulate around the back of the Municipal Center, as shown in the attached PDF of map
