Collin College News: Collin College Named “Great College To Work For” For Third Year In A Row

Sept. 23, 2021 – Collin College continues to be recognized as one of the best higher education employers in the nation, according to a survey by The Great Colleges to Work For® program. This is the third year in a row that the college has been recognized by the program.

The survey, conducted by ModernThink, examines best practices and policies in a wide variety of areas using survey results from faculty and staff. Collin College was one of 70 institutions of higher learning to earn the Great Colleges to Work For® distinction among 196 surveyed. Collin College’s survey results were grouped among “large colleges” with 10,000 or more students.

The survey results are based on the combination of two assessment instruments: a survey administered to faculty and staff and an institution audit that details various institutional demographics, policies and practices.
The Great Colleges to Work For® program is one of the largest and most respected workplace-recognition programs in the country.
