Collin College Offers Late Start Fall FastTrack Classes

These classes can help students move one step closer to their associate degrees and/or transfer the credits to area universities.

Sept. 7, 2021 – This fall, Collin College is offering a FastTrack session which provides students with the opportunity to start fall semester classes in late September or mid-October. Many of those classes can even be completed before the Thanksgiving break.

The fall FastTrack classes will be offered online. Course options include general education classes like English, History, Government, Math, and Speech. In addition, some elective courses will be offered to assist students in degree completion.

These classes can help students move one step closer to their associate degrees and/or transfer the credits to area universities. They also include online student services, such as access to libraries as well as math and writing centers.

Students enrolled in FastTrack courses should also fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (http://www.fafsa.gov/) to be eligible for numerous grants available this year. If students have previous college credit but have not been taking classes since at least the spring 2021 semester, there are grants that may cover the cost of tuition and fees.

Registration for fall FastTrack classes is now open for current students. New students should begin by applying for admission at www.collin.edu/gettingstarted/admissions/.
