1. A former McKinney man was indicted for COVID-19 relief fraud. He was charged with federal violations for attempting to file fraudulent loan applications for millions of dollars in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. The man, Sinoj Kallamplackal Joseph, faces seven counts of wire fraud and three counts of making false statements to a bank. (Department of Justice)
2. A rider-owned scooter shop, Stylz Pro Scooters, is now open in McKinney. The shop sells freestyle trick scooters, as well as parts and accessories. They also offer installation services. (Community Impact)
3. The 5th Annual McKinney Wine & Music Festival is taking place today and tomorrow at the Towne Lake Park and will feature live music and wine from 3o local wineries. (Visit McKinney)
