- Frisco’s RoughRiders ballpark has been transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haunt for the season. Frights’n Lights is officially opening at Riders Field on Saturday with a full-on Halloween festival featuring carnival games, rides, food and drinks, and the Headless Horseman’s Haunted Hay Maze. Frights’n Lights will run on select dates through Nov. 6. (The Dallas Morning News)
- A parents group called the Unified Parents of FISD is joining a federal lawsuit against Frisco ISD and other Texas school districts for not requiring students to wear masks. The class-action suit against their children’s school districts implores administrators to implement a mask mandate and enact other COVID-19 safety protocols.
