Here are the top stories in McKinney-Frisco today:
- The annual Frisco Community Parade will march through downtown this Saturday, Nov. 13. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., parade participants will leave Toyota Stadium, marching east on Main Street before finishing at North County Road. This year's theme is "Frisco: We Are One." High school teams and bands, first responders, businesses, and veterans will all feature in the celebration. (Press Release Desk)
- The McKinney Fire Department is partnering with Integrative Emergency Services to implement a telemedicine program that connects some patients to ER Physicians without a trip to the hospital. The program, one of the first in the country involving fire-based EMS departments, allows paramedics on the scene to evaluate non-emergency patients. Paramedics are then connected to a board-certified ER physician to assist in providing the right diagnosis, treatment, and referral options. (North Texas e-News)
