Here are the top stories today in McKinney-Frisco:

1. Crews from the Frisco Fire Department are heading to the Texas Panhandle to help combat wildfires. The department have sent "one strike team leader/vehicle and four firefighters on a Type III engine" after they were requested to attend as a part of the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System. The crews left on Friday evening and will be receiving their assignment from the Texas A&M Forest Service. (KRLD)
2. The Frisco Independent School District canceled classes on Monday at Lone Star High School due to a threat. The initial threat was from a social media post on Friday and the second threat was via email on Sunday evening. The district said it will communicate when classes will resume. (WFAA.com)
