Here are the top stories today in McKinney-Frisco:

  1. The first in a series of Frisco hiring fairs will be taking place on Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at Preston Trail Community Church on Independence Parkway. The event is being coordinated by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, the Frisco Economic Development Corp., and Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas. This event will focus on jobs in restaurant, retail, hotel, and other service industries. (Community Impact Newspaper)
  2. Join Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney at City Hall today for the last "Coffee with the Mayor" event of 2021. Mayor Cheney will be available from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. in the 4th floor McCallum Roomat the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center (6101 Frisco Square Blvd.). Community members are invited to ask questions about Wing, the new drone delivery service taking off in Frisco. (McKinney-Frisco Patch)
  3. Catering company Two Skillets is expanding as it opens a new restaurant concept in downtown McKinney. Two Skillets on the Square is looking to open in early 2022 at 109 N. Kentucky Street, in the former location of Snug on the Square. (Community Impact Newspaper)
