Frisco ISD : Frisco ISD Is Home To Multiple National BPA Champions

Top students from across Frisco ISD represented Texas at the virtual Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference after a memorable performance at the state competition.

Nearly 175 Frisco ISD BPA members qualified for nationals and more than 30 students representing five campuses were recognized as National Champions.

Through BPA, students have an opportunity to share their acumen in various areas of business including finance, digital communication and design, business administration and management information systems. 

BPA is a national co-curricular organization that helps students prepare for careers in business by offering exercises based on national standards. The organization’s activities and programs complement classroom instruction by giving students practical experience through the application of the skills learned at school.

Through the BPA state and national competition, several Frisco ISD students were awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships and were elected to national offices within the organization.

These students were supported over the course of months of preparation by teachers from across FISD. These teachers dedicated considerable time to help the students prepare for this competition, which advances leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills.
