  1. Frisco-area siblings 14-year-old Ishaan Thakur and 9-year-old Aanya Thakur have started their own crypto mining business. The two first got started after watching a series of YouTube videos on crypto mining, before dismantling Ishaan's gaming computer and turning it into a mining machine. After school, they make their way inside the garage of their home to configure graphics cards into problem-solving mathematicians and check the status of their operations. (Spectrum News)
  2. Two Frisco ISD Cross Country Runners earned medals at the Regional Championships on Tuesday. Seniors Nati Enright of Wakeland and Brighton Mooney of Independence, both of whom qualified for the state meet last year, are returning to the 2021 state meet with the added title of regional champions. Mooney pulled away in the back half of the girls' race and Enright did the same in the boys' race, earning each a decisive victory on the 3.1-mile course at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie. 3. Portillo’s famous hot dogs are coming to the Frisco area in 2022. This Chicago favorite is opening its first Texas location sometime next year as part of its efforts to expand its national presence.
