  1. Get excited, coffee lovers! Here’s your guide to the seven best coffee shops in the Frisco area. Try the Salted Caramel Mocha at Ascension, or head over to Karmic Grounds and test out one of their seasonal lattes. (Local Profile)
  2. The City of McKinney broke ground on a 55,000 square-foot indoor tennis complex at Gabe Nesbitt Community Park. The $11 million indoor tennis complex will be constructed next to the existing outdoor tennis facility, The Courts of McKinney, and will feature six indoor courts — bringing the total number of courts within the complex to 29. Currently, the project is on track to be completed by year’s end. (McKinney Courier-Gazette)
  3. A woman was arrested in a McKinney home in connection to a stabbing that took place on Saturday. 37-year-old Russell Posey was stabbed at a home in the 1700 block of Bradley Street, which is in a neighborhood south of University Drive between Highway 75 and McDonald Street. He was found unconscious on the kitchen floor with stab wounds by police and later died at the hospital. Lupe Faughn, 37, was taken into custody at the home and has been charged with murder. (Fox4)
