Here are the top stories today in McKinney-Frisco:

  1. Jenna Ryan, a Frisco real estate broker who was accused of being part of the group that stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, is headed to prison. Ryan has been sentenced Thursday to 60 days behind bars and a $1,000 fine along with $500 in restitution to the architect of the Capitol. She had previously posted about the riots on social media and bragged that she "wasn't going to jail because she is white [and] has blond hair and a good job." (NBC 5)
  2. The Red Cross urges eligible people to make a blood donation as the busy holiday season approaches. People who give blood between Nov. 1-12 will be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to Hawaii and those who donate between Nov. 1 and 23 will receive a $10 Amazon gift card.   3. Police in McKinney are searching for a person of interest in a case involving multiple thefts and credit card abuse schemes. (CBS DFW)
