  1. Lone Star High School in Frisco was closed for the second day in a row on Tuesday due to a threat on social media. The police department is still investigating and because of that, the school district decided to close again on Tuesday. Frisco ISD encourages all students and staff to use the anonymous STOPit app to report anything of concern to school officials. (CBS DFW)
  2. The Star Frisco is getting five delicious new restaurants in 2022. Among those restaurants is a chic and elevated upscale lounge called Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen, which will open in spring 2022. The other restaurants opening early next year are Lombardi Cucina Italiana, The Glen & Monarch Stag, Roti Grill, and Sidecar Social, which will open in the fall. (Local Profile)
