  1. In a recent study by SmartAsset, a financial tech company, two of the safest cities in America are right here in the DFW metroplex. Frisco ranked No. 1 and McKinney ranked No. 2 in the study. The study looked at the crime rates to determine the rankings, including number of crimes reported per resident. (Star Local Media)
