  1. On Friday, McKinney kicked off its 40th annual Home for the Holidays, a seasonal celebration that spans a 14-block area of the city's 165-year-old commercial historic downtown. Event hours for the rest of the weekend are 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, and tomorrow (Nov. 28) from noon to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free, with complimentary shuttle service available.(Historic Downtown McKinney)
  2. Don't miss out on the start of the holiday season in Frisco Square! Park Place Lexus Plano Skate the Square is open today and tomorrow 12:15 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the Christmas in the Square Light Show, courtesy of CoServ and Grande Communications, is free every night from 6 to 10 p.m. all season long.
