McKinney, TX — “You never know who’s having a bad day.” Stephanie McPherson keeps that thought in the forefront of her mind as she teaches art at Scott Johnson Middle School. She struggled with her own experiences as a high school student, and she remembers a special educator during that time who delivered a daily dose of encouragement.
