McKinney Routine Sewer Smoke Testing Underway

(January 6, 2021) Routine sewer inspections (also known as smoke testing) in now underway and will continue for about six (6) weeks. The City of Frisco uses smoke testing to locate leaks or cracks in the sanitary sewer system. Door hangers will alert residents to neighborhoods where smoke testing is scheduled. Testing will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Residents do not need to be home, and staff will not need to enter homes while smoke tests are conducted.
