- Frisco realtor Jenna Ryan is one of more than 600 people arrested for storming the Capitol on Jan. 6, but she’s one of the most high-profile cases in the country because of her viral social media posts. Last week, she was sentenced to 60 days in prison after pleading guilty to a Class B misdemeanor for parading, demonstrating, or picketing within a Capitol building. She’s set to begin her sentence in January.(WFAA.com)
- Chad Rudy on the Frisco ISD board of trustees said he will not run for re-election in May. The board secretary and former president and vice president said he has "greatly enjoyed" serving on the FISD board since he was first elected in 2015, but has always had the opt-out in the back of his mind. Despite what he cited as the "fiscal and social issues happening in the world today," Rudy said he has reached a final decision. (Community Impact Newspaper)
