  1. McKinney Mayor George Fuller and other local officials broke ground yesterday on the new H-E-B store, set to open in late 2023. The new store is located on the northeast corner of Custer Road and Eldorado Parkway and is designed with a modern character to integrate into the McKinney community. (CBSLocal)
  2. The McKinney Lions weren't favored to win going into their matchup with nationally-ranked Richardson, but with an incredible team effort and spirit of sportsmanship, McKinney ISD's basketball team took down Richardson for a momentous win. (Vype.com)
  3. SWBC Real Estate recently sold two apartment communities totaling 566 units in McKinney and Rockwall.   • Yesterday, Collin County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the Gang and Habitual Offender Strike Team (GHOST) assisted the US Marshals Service in the arrest of Jeremy Michael Lenoire. USMS officials worked with GHOST deputies to track Lenoire to a residence in Frisco, where he was taken into custody without incident. (Facebook)
  • Cirrus Aircraft presented the McKinney Independent School District with a check for $25,000 at McKinney National Airport that will go toward the MISD Aviation program. (Facebook)
