- A local resident who recently experienced an intense bidding war on her McKinney property says home buying has become "too aggressive in Texas" and may ultimately leave the state — and she's not alone. Many North Texans say they are "fed up" with recent real estate market patterns over the last two years as home affordability remains a big challenge across the state. A recent Texas A&M study found that home prices have skyrocketed nearly 19 percent year-over-year in 2021, and some residents wonder whether they'll ever be able to afford a home in Texas again. - This weekend, Frisco played host to dedicated fans and former players of Montana State football as they faced off against North Dakota State in the FCS Championship game at Toyota Stadium. Past and present Bobcats gathered throughout Frisco and held reunions with teammates they hadn’t seen or spoken to for many years. On Saturday morning before the big game, a tailgate was held at the stadium, where attendees prepared to cheer on MSU. While North Dakota ultimately won 38–10, Montana players and alumni recognized the "immense accomplishment of even reaching the championship game." (KULR-TV)
