- Dozens of Frisco leaders heard the first public presentation of a potential new, mixed-use development to coincide with PGA Frisco, the Fields development, and all the projects underway in the city’s growing northern region. The Oxbow at Frisco, which was pitched as "a new Texas landmark urban prairie," is a $5.1 billion project planned for the southwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and US 380. Highlights of the project include a 350,000-square-foot convention center and hotel, townhouse residences, and a four-mile hike and bike trail. (Community Impact Newspaper)
- A pair of Frisco siblings are currently making $35,000 a month mining cryptocurrency. Eight months ago, 14-year-old Ishaan Thakur and his 9-year-old sister Aanya converted their gaming computer into a cryptocurrency mining machine. With the help of a loan from their father, the Thakurs have invested tens of thousands of dollars into their operation.
