  1. A Frisco development proposal seeks to bring a microbrewery to downtown. The city's Planning and Zoning Commission approved a rezoning item that would allow for a small craft brewery and additional parking space. The new rezoning item will now head to the Frisco City Council for approval. (Star Local Media)
  2. Two Frisco City Council candidates head to a runoff in response to the special election on Saturday. Our community will once again vote to select a Place 5 City Council member since none of the candidates were able to garner fifty percent of the vote. Laura Rummel and Tracie Shipman will be on the runoff ballot. (Star Local Media)

Pastor Brandon Burden has been known to deliver politically-motivated sermons to his congregation but this time he has called the County Party Chair Jayne Howell a 'Jezebel' and told his congregation they must challenge her. In the Bible, Jezebel was killed by an angry mob. Howell will not be seeking reelection. (Dallas Observer)
