  1. A McKinney professor filed a lawsuit this week after she was allegedly fired for saying that anti-LGBTQ former Vice President Mike Pence has a "demon mouth." Former Collin College professor Lora Burnett is accusing the public school of violating her First Amendment rights. During the vice presidential debate last year, Burnett tweeted, "The moderator needs to talk over Mike Pence until he shuts his little demon mouth up."
  2. Appropriately dubbed "Fright Night in Frisco" by Austin FC play-by-play commentator Adrian Healey, the Verde and Black tricked and treated their way to Toyota Stadium one day before Halloween, with the Copa Tejas trophy and Lone Star bragging rights on the line.
