  1. The Salvation Army of North Texas has announced the promotions of key members of its executive leadership team. Blake Fetterman and Beckie Wach have both taken on new positions to better help The Salvation Army combat poverty, addiction, and homelessness across North Texas. Fetterman will be a planning and development consultant while Wach is responsible for directing staff selection, policy, and procedure development. (Fort Worth Business Press)
  2. The Frisco Oktoberfest is coming to Frisco Square this weekend. The festivities will take place Saturday, Oct. 2 from 11 a.m.-10 a.m. and Sunday, Oct. 3 from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $20 per sheet of 20 tickets.
