Here are the top stories today in McKinney-Frisco:
- McKinney Police are still searching for the driver who injured a child in a hit-and-run crash last week. On Nov. 11 around 3:30 p.m., a black sedan, possibly a Mitsubishi Galant, hit a child in the 1000 block of Inland Lane and left the scene. Police are asking neighbors to check their doorbell cameras to see if they may have captured the incident when it happened. Anyone with information should contact Detective Irwin at nirwin@mckinneytexas.org. (McKinney Police Department)
- The Texas Historical Commission (THC) invites the public to attend and participate in the McKinney Regional Workshop for the 2022-2032 Texas Statewide Historic Preservation Plan. The workshop is happening Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at the McKinney Performing Arts Center and will focus on the future of historic preservation in Texas. (Visit McKinney TX)
- As the opening date approaches for the PGA of America’s new headquarters in Frisco, members reflect on the legacy of the current PGA Frisco and its future as a "hub for developments in game initiatives." (Star Local Media)
