1. A video of birds at the Stonebriar Mall recently went viral. The video shows a massive swarm of birds swirling around parked cars in the mall's parking lot. The video was shot by new Frisco resident Kenna Mitchell and can be viewed by clicking the link. (Star Local Media)
2. PGA Frisco has been recognized as the new "Silicon Valley of Golf." The PGA’s new megaplex golf facility is still under construction and will be opened in full in Jun. 2022. Frisco officials estimate a $2.5 billion economic impact from the project over the next twenty years. (Local Profile)
3. McKinney-based BALANCED Media|Technology announces a patent-pending medical imaging technology that can identify ocular diseases. The patent uses automated software and a video game to provide standardized, accurate, and precise identification of diseases such as macular degeneration. The research was supported by a $2.5 million grant award from the W. W. Caruth, Jr. Foundation at Communities Foundation of Texas.
