A 10-year-old Collin County girl who has been missing since the summer was found in a foreign country this weekend and is being returned home to her family, said officials with the Collin County Sheriff's Office in McKinney. In July, Sophie Long's father, Michael Long, took her and fled the state amid a custody battle with the child's mother. Michael Long is currently in custody on a felony warrant for interference with child custody and will be extradited back to Texas. (Sportskeeda)
  2. This weekend, the Frisco Fire Department sent a crew to the Panhandle to assist a state-wide effort to battle large wildfires. As part of the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS), Frisco sent one strike team leader vehicle and four firefighters on a Type III engine to Amarillo.   3. A mix of sun, rain, and clouds are coming to the McKinney-Frisco area this week. Temperatures and weather conditions are expected to fluctuate over the next several days, with lows in the 50s and 60s and highs reaching up to 78.
