The conservative group is traveling around the state in an effort to energize voters around highly stigmatized issues like critical race theory, which is an academic framework that details the way policies and laws uphold systemic racism in education, housing, or criminal justice. The tour draws on expanded parental rights, which has become a new rallying cry for Republicans, including Governor Greg Abbott. (The Dallas Morning News)
