Teens Arrested For Threats To Stafford Middle School In Frisco

The students, both 14, attend Stafford Middle School.

FRISCO, TX – Two 14-year-old middle school students were arrested Tuesday for allegedly making threats toward Sue Wilson Stafford Middle School in Frisco.

Police said in a statement the students were arrested around 2:10 p.m. Tuesday after being told of the threats.

Fellow students of those arrested overheard the suspects discussing bringing guns to school and conducting a shooting, police said.

The students were arrested on a charge of Exhibition of Firearm, a third-degree felony.

“The Frisco Police Department takes each of these school threats seriously," said Frisco Chief of Police, John Bruce. "All statements of this nature will be handled swiftly and appropriately. Students need to understand that making threats could create a criminal record that will follow them for their entire lives. Make smart choices. If you see/hear something, say something!”
