  1. A new mobile COVID-19 testing site has opened at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, and at least one more is expected to open in North Texas this week. The new sites have opened to help meet the growing demand for testing amid the surge of positive cases. Both sites will run seven days a week and the Frisco location will be in operation from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The sites are operated by Nomi Health, a Florida-based health care organization. As the omicron variant is impacting school reopenings in North Texas, officials for school districts in Frisco, Fort Worth, and Arlington have announced they will continue the school year as expected. The majority of districts have not announced any changes to the spring semester. (The Dallas Morning News)
