Here are the top two stories in McKinney-Frisco today:

  1. Waxing the City, a facility that offers body and face waxing for both men and women is opening a new location. A new center is coming to Frisco at North Dallas Parkway. Waxing the City has additional locations in McKinney, Dallas, and elsewhere in the area. (Community Impact)
  2. Residents in the North Dallas area we're not pleased with the Dallas Cowboys performance on Sunday night. After losing 23-17 to the San Francisco 49ers, fans at AT&T stadium started throwing trash onto the field. The situation did not improve when quarterback Dak Prescott endorsed the actions. Doing a "Dry January" or just looking for a flavorful alternative to regular cocktails? Here's a suggestion: try a non-alcoholic drink from our partners at Betera. Created by an award-winning chef from natural botanicals, Betera’s drinks come in 3 flavors — Ginger-Orange, Elderflower-Lime and Rhubarb-Hibiscus. We tried Ginger-Orange, and it was excellent — lightly effervescent, floral with a hint of bitterness and the sippability of a cocktail.
