Driver Shot On Beechnut In Possible Road Rage Incident
The victim was taken to a local hospital; no suspect has been apprehended: media report.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is investigating a shooting early Sunday on Beechnut Street that may have been caused by road rage, according to a media report. Sometime before 3 a.m., an unidentified man driving near Loop 610 was shot in the leg, the Houston Chronicle reported.
The shooting occurred in the 4600 block of Beechnut, and the victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury, a police spokesman said on Twitter.

An ambulance took the man to a local hospital, and the police said he's expected to survive, the Chronicle reported.

As of Monday morning, no arrests had been made, and the police had not released a description of a shooting suspect or the suspect's vehicle, according to the Chronicle.
