• Habitual offender receives 45 years after 120 MPH pursuit (bluebonnetnews.com) — A Montgomery County judge has sentenced a habitual offender to 45 years in state prison after a 30‑mile, 120‑mph pursuit that began near Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands and crossed into Harris County. Local agencies from Shenandoah, Montgomery County, Harris County, and DPS coordinated to stop the chase, recover stolen tools and catalytic converters, and bring multiple felony cases against the driver.
   

• Willis ISD IT employee arrested for online solicitation of minor (kbtx.com) — Law enforcement in Montgomery County, where many Montgomery families live and work, arrested a Willis ISD IT employee on a charge of online solicitation of a minor. Investigators say he exchanged inappropriate photos with a 14-year-old former student and is being held on a $125,000 bond. The Sheriff's Office and District Attorney continue a joint investigation into the case.
